Hiring rock-star team members starts with having a rock-star company people want to work for. After you’ve attracted the right applicants, it’s up to you to filter through all of the candidates to find the best of the best.

That’s why effective interviewing is critically important to the success of your business. Whether your hiring process is a walk in the park or a run through the gauntlet, the people who make it onto your team will immediately start affecting your company culture, your other team members and every aspect of your business.

And since payroll is the number one expense for a small business, you need to make sure you’re getting a return on your largest investment!

In this coaching video, I’ll give you a tip on how to ask better interview questions to ensure the only candidates making it through your interview process are the kind of people you’re actually looking for.

I have a question for Christy. My daughter opened her own PT, yoga and pilates business 1 1/2 years ago and is doing great. She is a single mom that has worked so hard to get where she is today . She lives in Austin ,Tex. She has some health issues and her insurance is not paying hardly anything and this could put her in a bind down the road. She was telling me last night that she is thinking about doing something else so she can get better insurance. Do you have any advice how to get good insurance for small business owners. I hate to see her give up what she has worked so hard for and loves her job helping people. Thank you!!!!
