  • Stacey Mattinson says:

What a great podcast! I am recognizing what holds me back most is my overall lack of self-confidence, which I didn’t even realize I had until I started my own business. I have always been a great employee and leader within the workplace, but the looming “I’m not good enough, qualified enough, don’t know enough, and don’t know how,” coupled with “There are so many people who are great and should be doing this instead of me” is totally crippling. Thanks for encouraging me to lean in and reminding me I am enough with God’s help, and to seek how He would have me help others. I don’t have all the answers, but He does, and I know He wants me to help people and I’ve been called to do that, and I’m passionate about what I can do to help others find it within themselves to change their lives. I sincerely appreciated Christine Caine’s words.

  • Lauren L. says:

It was amazing & encouraging to hear from Christine Caine because I also run an anti-human trafficking organization called Written On Your Heart! It was a great to be reminded to be more full of faith than fear, follow your instincts, & to set goals at the beginning.

  • Nancy Hill says:

A friend sent your link to me – I just retired at age 63 and have always wanted to do my own business – I didn’t do it for the very reasons that was talked about on the first podcast episode -not smart enough ,good enough , not the right time etc-I’ve always said had I put as much into my own business as I have for my employers I would have made a go of it for sure-my daughter has also had a change in her life and it’s all we talk about _i am so excited -thank you so much-I’m in -God Bless Nancy

  • Deborah Pleasant says:

I have learned so much from Dave Ramsey and I have always dreamed of owning my own business. Thank you for sharing your experiences and giving me hope that with your help my dreams can be my reality! I hope to see you in Nashville.

  • Lindsay says:

I was so moved when listening to Christine Caine speak. I am trying to launch a non-profit so I can relate to so much of what she said. He story gave me so much hope and inspiration. Thank you – thank you – thank you for delivering this message to me!!!

  • Elanee Smythe says:

I’m learning that I need to be more persistent in my goals, and focus on why I’m doing what I’m doing. It’s becoming too easy to let things go, and not use time wisely, and I see the need to capture my time, and use it for God’s glory.

  • Lisa Palmer says:

I just listened to the first episode and I’m super pumped to continue working on my business plan. I’m learning how to keep focused and stay positive. I really need that. So many times negative thoughts overcome my brain and I have to learn how to fight them. I can do this! WE can do this!

  • Jessica says:

I am so excited for this podcast. Thanks, Christy!

Much like Amber, I had a hard time figuring out my why because I design childrens shirts and body suits. I love doing it but saw so many others who were making those bigger impacts in people lives (non-profits for example) that I was embarrassed for a while and thought I didn’t have a purpose. I realized last year that my why is my family. My husband works a lot and we have 3 small boys. He misses so many events. I would love to just be able to lift some of that financial burden from him. To have him be able to make it to lunch with the kids or a soccer game on a Saturday afternoon.

But in the last year my why has also grown. I have been connected me with many amazing women recently. I have been able to make t-shirts for their small businesses and the feedback that I’ve gotten from them has brought me to tears! Feedback like feeling like they are finally a small business and how that has brought them confidence to go outside their comfort zone. One of those ladies has even hired a few employees and proudly ordered shirts for them too. I never ever thought that a shirt could make that difference.

I have also started a mastermind group this year where we share our goals and keep each other accountable. I have seen tremendous growth out of each one of us and I am so thankful for their accountability! I can’t wait to attend the Business Boutique in November to learn more. 🙂

  • Roberta Oliveira says:

    Greetings from Toronto, Canada!

Just started listening to the podcast. I’m very excited as I’d like to start investing time to make my ideas turn into a business. I really like that the business boutique falls under Dave Ramsey and his principals. I started listening to Dave recently and have put my faith into his teachings and principals. For future podcasts I’d like to know how I can start/fund a business without going into debt. I have no debts, a fully funded emergency fund, but no money to put towards a business. How do I get started without borrowing money?

    Excited to learn more!

  • Chelsea Lewis says:

    Hi Christy,

I am very interested and excited for the things you are talking about in your podcast and want to get started!

I put my email in the optin above, but I never received anything in my email. Was there a second part that I missed?

  • Amy Cole says:

My daughter told me about Business Boutique. She has been listening to Dave Ramsey’s Podcasts and learning how to start her adult life right financially. She knows I am trying hard to learn about starting a business and build it up. I just started listening to the podcasts yesterday and am working through Quick Start Business Plan now. The hardest part for me has always been building the foundation. I have a hard time just keeping things simple. So…my question is this. When I am setting my goals, should I be very specific here? I have tiny goals and huge goals. Do I list them all? I could fill pages I imagine. What should I focus in on?
Can’t wait for the next podcast.

    Thank you,

  • Candy Dye says:

I’ve heard many trainings on how to define your “why”, but Christy, your presentation was life changing for me. Your words spoke right to my heart and my “why” came gushing out of my spirit onto my paper. God has used you to inspire and ignite the solid foundation of my business. Thank you for such a tremendous blessing! See you in Irvine!

    • Christy Wright says:

      Hi Candy,

Thank you for this sweet comment, it’s a blessing to me! I’m so glad that the podcast is helping you and that you starting writing right away. I wish you success in your business and hope to meet you in Irvine!

  • Gila Halleli says:

I got to you from Dave Ramsey’s podcasts (whom I love). I’ve listened to the first episode and downloaded the rest. This was really “m’shamayim”, or heaven-sent, as we say here (Israel).

I recently set up a blog,, and I know that I want to eventually make money through this, but have been having trouble getting past the fear and intimidation in order to see through how to do so. I’m not paralyzed, but I’m also not seeing how to go from blog to something that makes money. I know consulting will be involved, but that involves actually, you know, telling people that they should pay me to give them advice!

But the business plan step is great and I’m going to spend some time working on that over the next few weeks. If I break this down into defined goals and small, concrete steps, this is liable to be a lot more manageable. I’ve subscribed to the podcasts and shall listen to Part II right now.

Thank you, and please consider doing an event in Israel. It’s a lovely country!

  • Karen Ward says:

I have been following you for the last couple of years. Thank you for all of your time/knowledge and investment in all of us. Listening to this pod cast was really inspiring. I plan to follow you thru until I am a SUCCESS! Thank you Thank you Thank you.

  • Dayana Kamaruzaman says:

I had to refrain myself listening to straight Ep2 – it was really the guest speakers were inspiring and the podcast pumped me up! I can’t wait to get the foundation all laid out and just start. I’ve been putting it off so many times, I was worried about what people would say, what if it wasn’t good enough, what if they make fun of me, and thanks to your podcast, I know now it was because I don’t have a clear foundation to work on.

  • Latonja Piland says:

Thank you so much for providing the information and encouragement of these podcasts!! The stories of each person is so inspiring it helps me feel motivated to do what God has called me to do. I have suffered for years with health related issues and through my experience I have become acquainted with natural health remedies and other natural ways to heal the body. I have a passion to help others who are suffering from chronic illnesses and help lead them to their path to health. I’m on to the next step of my journey with your help. Thanks again!!

  • Debra says:

Christine Caine was a great personal inspiration to me. Two years ago, I started an organization to rescue modern-day slaves. As a rabbi, I have worked with Free The Slaves to establish the Passover Project. See So far, dozens of synagogues and schools from around the U.S. have become sponsor/members.
I would love to be in touch with Christine, to organize a short meeting, so I can ask her some questions and discuss the possibility of creating a loose confederation of faith-based groups and resources, to share best practices and combine efforts, when feasible.
Please pass on my email address to her. Thank you for your work, and particularly for this interview.

Loved this episode. LOVE THIS PODCAST. I am a huge Christine Caine fan. My big takeaway, amongst others: “People don’t burn out from doing too much. They burn out from not doing enough of the right things,” Christine Caine.

  • Bree Tuttle says:

Started listening to these podcasts this week…wow! Speaking to my heart. Also, after listening to episode 1 and really thinking through “The WHY” of my business, I had an “A-HA!” moment and really was able to better define why I’m going into business for myself…I felt like a fire was lit inside of me and I was able to connect with my passion again.
Really looking forward to digging in further and getting a great business plan in place so I can hit the ground running.

Thank you Christy for sharing your gifts with us!

  • Kathryn Irish says:

I’ve never been so impressed and inspired by anyone as I am with Christy!! I’m a fan for life.
So professional, knowledgeable and comfortable to listen to.

  • Jacquelin says:

I have a program in mind to develop. I didn’t consider it a business opportunity until this podcast. In the mean time I work in direct sales. I’m not sure how to move forward.

  • Sarah says:

    Hi Christy,
I first heard you speak on the Bombshell Business Podcast. At the time, I was just looking for random podcasts to listen to while hitting the weights. Months later, I find myself wanting to start a business and lost wondering where to start. Your podcast stuck with me so I tried searching for your book… and what did I find?? Something even better! Your podcast series! I just downloaded your quick start guide. Thank you!

  • Nycki says:

Amazing and so powerful and so many levels! So thankful for each one of your tips and interviews to make us business minded women never stop dreaming bigger and learning to put this dreams to reality!!!

  • Shawn says:

My wife, Kelly, and me have really been inspired to start our own business lately.
We have a business idea that a close friend of ours has been very successful at and we are struggling to get the startup funds. We believe that we can get our business up and running for right around $15,000 and that would be securing our facility and about $7500 worth of startup inventory. Would your podcast have any episodes that may give us the fuel for our ideas and plans? Thank you for providing such useful information. God bless!
